Oh yeah, let’s blame the cows! Actually, it’s not the cows’ or cattle industry’s fault – It’s ours.

Americans eat approx 220 pounds a year of this EXTREMELY WATER-INTENSIVE product. Too much! It’s not healthy for us, OR the planet.

“Popular Science” reports red meat is linked to increased risk of cardiovascular disease & colon cancer. And livestock contributes to 14.5 percent of greenhouse gas emissions globally.

AND, “The Guardian” has reported “Across the U.S., cattle-feed crops account for 23% of all water consumption. In the Colorado River Basin, it’s over half.”
